The Finance Department is responsible for all fiscal matters within the Borough. The department manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, processing of payroll, and debt-related issuance and payments. The Finance Department office is located on the third floor of the Borough Building at 605 Ross Avenue. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30 am–4:30 pm.
Municipal Service Fees are processed within the Finance Department. The current annual residential fee is $150. Each year, bills for the Municipal Services Fee are issued in April, and are due by June 30. Contact the Finance Department at (412) 244-2948 with questions, or to learn about available payment options. If you stop by with your question in person, please bring a copy of your bill with account number and address.
Parking tickets can be paid in person at the Finance Office during regular business hours. Payments received after 3:30pm will be processed on the following business day. Any questions related to parking fines can be answered at (412) 242-7251. You can pay by cash, check, debit, or credit card. Please write the ticket or citation number on your check or money order. Any dispute of a parking ticket should be directed to the local magistrate. You can contact Wilkinsburg's Magistrate, the Honorable Kim Hoots, by calling (412) 241-6529. The Finance Department only processes payments, and cannot forgive or adjust fines.
