The primary purpose of the Wilkinsburg Municipal Authority is to be a vehicle for accomplishing public purposes not possible or practical through action of counties, municipalities. The Authority is authorized to acquire, construct, finance, improve, maintain and operate projects, provide financing for insurance reserves, make loans and to borrow money and issue bonds to finance them.
