The Parks and Recreation Committee meets once a month and consists of three members of Council as well as the President. Vanessa McCarthy-Johnson, the Chair, Tracey Evans and Paige Trice are the committee members. The committee works with the Manager and the Borough Engineer to oversee the numerous parks as well as some Borough community events like Community Days. This committee, like the other Council committees, is not open to the public, but will be looking to a newly-formed Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee of seven residents for input. Five members of that committee will be appointed by Council and two by the School District.
