Public Schools
The Wilkinsburg School District consists of two elementary schools (Kelly, and Turner).
Based on a recent partnership with Pittsburgh Public Schools, Wilkinsburg Middle School and High School (grades 7-12) will now be receiving education at Westinghouse High school. In addition, Wilkinsburg School District serves students in grades K–6 who are at risk of school failure and in need of a smaller school environment with an increased level of care. The public school system is under the governance of the school board, an elected body of concerned citizens who oversee school administrators, advocate for school improvement, and play a vital role in school reform. The board holds legislative sessions, which are open to the public, once a month. For more information, please visit: http://www.wilkinsburgschools.org/ourdistrict/boardleadership/
